Social Media Message!

Social Media Message!

A message to all our social media followers:

Over the past 18 months, we have been incredibly privileged to see our various social media pages flourish and our tightknit community expand beyond our clinic in Adelaide, South Australia to followers worldwide. We are so grateful to all of you that comment, share, like and follow our content and it is because of you that our reach continues to grow.

Our priority is always our existing families and clients at our clinic. Our social media content is handled internally by one of our therapists within the practice, so any time spent on social media is time away from our clients. This means that as this online community grows we don’t always have the time to answer every question or comment that is posted on Facebook, Instagram, Youtube or our website. Please don’t be discouraged by this, we do endeavour to make contact but the reality is there just isn’t enough hours in the day.

One of the common things we see here is people posting from interstate or other countries requesting our services. We do welcome consulting, speaking and presenting opportunities outside of our clinic (if you are interested email admin@otfc.com.au), however, being a small practice there is a limit to the scope of our services outside of South Australia. For these reasons, we are pleased to announce that over the coming weeks we are going to be sharing videos of simple, home-based activities that can be done by parents, carers or professionals without the use of a specialised Sensory Integration clinic. We will also be doing some Live Streams on Facebook and Instagram and are excited that this can be a way of connecting with you all on a more personal level and potentially answering more of your questions. We hope that this is a little way that we can give back to the OT community worldwide and further spread the good work that Occupational Therapists do.

Thank you so much,
OTFC.
