At OTFC we pride ourselves on being a dynamic teaching practice, where skills and techniques are shared, and everyone has the opportunity to be empowered in working with children. We have a long history with the universities in South Australia and regularly have students undergo their clinical placements here. Students at OTFC are provided with a varied learning experience by gaining knowledge of both assessment and treatment processes, participating in group therapy, observing clients in community based settings (school, home) and building skills in documentation. Our clinicians thoroughly enjoy having students here and scaffold their learning towards the independence needed for their careers.
Kultar is the OTFC Student Placement Supervisor. He ensures the student program at OTFC covers all of the OTFC offerings and ensures the maximum amount of learning and experience is achieved during this time.
We currently have two University of South Australia OT Students with us doing their final year practitioner placement with us and their input, initiative, work ethic and passion is very admirable.
